What is NSW Plan Management?
Our plan managers are here to help you get the most out of your NDIS funding, and to save you valuable time processing invoices and managing your admin.
We have close ties with the NSW community, giving you the local knowledge and expertise you need. Our Plan Management support is about giving you complete flexibility and control over your NDIS funds.
How much does a NDIS Plan Manager cost in NSW?
The NDIS pays the setup fee of $232 for participants in metropolitan areas in NSW for their first plan (which is paid separately to other plan budgets). They also pay the monthly fee of $104.45 for the length of your plan. These fees may be slightly higher if you live in a remote area.
There is zero cost to you as a NDIS participant. This monthly fee covers all costs associated with assisting and supporting you to manage your NDIS plan.
What’s the difference between plan-managed and NDIS-managed?
One of the main differences between using a plan manager like Plan Tracker instead of NDIA management, is that you get access to unregistered providers. This widens the pool of providers you can choose from, giving you access to local, boutique providers who can offer a great level of service.
When it comes to NDIA-management, you are limited to NDIS-registered providers only.
The other option is to self-manage your funds. With this option, you will need to make sure you have the time and skills to manage your own funds, because it can be time-consuming and (sometimes) overwhelming―especially if you’re new to the NDIS.
What’s the difference between a Plan Manager and a Support Coordinator?
Both plan management and support coordination help you benefit fully from your NDIS plan, but they work differently.
Plan management deals with the paperwork part of your plan, handling your invoicing and reporting, and supporting you to get the most out of your funds.
A support coordinator makes sure you get the best supports for your needs and that they are organised and managed well.
